KaniCut

Privacy Policy

How KaniCut handles information when you use the platform and connect third-party services such as Meta/Facebook.

Information we process

KaniCut may process account details, subscription information, files and media you choose to upload, project data, product usage information, device or browser information, and communications you send to us.

Facebook and Messenger information

When a Facebook Page is connected to KaniCut, Meta may send KaniCut information needed to operate the requested integration. Depending on the feature used, this may include Facebook Page identifiers, Page names, Page access information, Messenger sender identifiers, message IDs, message text, timestamps, webhook event data and related technical metadata. KaniCut may also create CRM contact and conversation records from those interactions so the connected Page owner can manage the requested automation and customer conversation.

How Facebook information is used

Facebook and Messenger information is used only to provide features requested by the connected Page owner, such as identifying the managed Page, receiving Messenger events, matching an incoming message to a configured automation, replying within Meta's applicable messaging rules, preventing duplicate webhook processing, maintaining conversation history and supporting human handoff. KaniCut does not treat an incoming Messenger message as blanket marketing consent.

How information is used

Information is used to provide and secure the service, operate user accounts and subscriptions, save projects, deliver requested features, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and provide support.

Your content

Your uploaded media and project content are used to provide the features you request. You remain responsible for ensuring that you have permission to process and use that content.

Third parties and service providers

KaniCut may rely on service providers for infrastructure, authentication, payments, analytics, AI processing, communications, or integrations. Information is shared only as needed to operate those services, follow your requested integration, protect the service, or comply with law. Third-party platforms such as Meta have their own terms and privacy practices.

Retention and deletion

KaniCut keeps information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, comply with law and support legitimate business operations. Messenger and CRM information may be deleted when it is no longer needed, when the relevant KaniCut account removes it, or following a verified deletion request, subject to limited legal or security retention requirements.

Your choices

You may stop using the service, disconnect supported third-party integrations, manage available account settings, and request access to or deletion of information associated with your account. See the Data Deletion page for the deletion-request process.
